First Day... Worst Day
Alright, well I did not expect to be doing this today but here I am anyway... I am familiar with blogging, but tonight instead of studying for my finals tomorrow I am setting up my diet blog! This is where I will blog daily(hopefully) about what I eat or my attempts at exercising. I am definately athletically inclined and I love my sweets, but I am hoping this will help me change my bad habits. I am a creature of habit. I like carbs and sleep. But winter is over and I want my summer body back. Usually I am pretty good about eating and exercising in the summer, however spring has started early this year and my diet and exercise ritual has not! So here it goes.
Today I have eaten:
-one bowl of mac and cheese
-half a costco muffin
-a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich
Today's exercise:
-rode my bike to and from work
Today was not productive but I am hoping this blog will help me keep tabs on my goals. Let me explain myself a little more, for the hell of it. I am talker... Ha.
I am five feet, two inches and about 120 pounds. While I know this is a normal weight for a person my height. I am not comfortable in my body. I know I have looked better. I am not worried about the actual weight, or number that appears on the scale. I know muscle weight more than fat. So if I lose some fat, but gain a greater amount of muscle, the number one the scale will increase.
Here is my goal for the next two weeks:
-eat mainly meat, cheese, nuts, eggs, and veggies. lots and lots of salads and soups.
-run at least 3 days a week
-meditate at least 4 times a week
Hopefully the exercise part will not be too hard since it is finals week and then spring break and I will have a good deal of time on my hands becuase I'm not going anywhere... The eating part will be hard. My boyfriend loves his junk food. It is about all he eats. So I just have to get my own food and stick to it! Please leave any tips or support if you wish!
